Sierra Sounds
A partnership between
Ron Morehead and Al Berry.

Although the final analysis of the creatures' sounds was presented in a symposium at the University of British Columbia in 1978 very little work has taken place to date. It is the hope of Sierra Sounds that another study can be launched using newer technology.

We believe that these recordings are unique and suggest an insight into the nature of these elusive unidentified primates. The years that we've experienced intermittent encounters have suggested to us that these entities are more that just another animal in the woods. It is the belief of Sierra Sounds that the creatures should not be shot–but a trust relationship should be encouraged.

There are literally thousands of reports on record and they continually come in from all over the Pacific Northwest. We are in hopes that mainstream science will become more involved in this discovery. Our recordings are now and have always been available to any expert that is willing to step up to the plate.
