Welcome to BigfootSounds.Com. As of now, we don’t ‘know’ what type creature made these sounds – their DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) has yet to be scientifically determined.  Because they left only their big footprints and big voices as evidence, we call them, collectively, Bigfoot.

On this site you will find information about the encounters that I and five other men experienced in a high mountainous region of the Sierra Nevada’s of California.  Two CDs and two books have been produced that tell this amazing story and provide insight into the nature of these elusive beings.

Volume 1 of “Bigfoot Recordings” was produced in 1996 and it contains Al Berry’s account of the Sierra story. It also contains very clear Bigfoot vocalizations captured on a crisp night at this remote wilderness camp. I produced Al’s story so folks could hear what these creatures can sound like and what he went through to obtain professional interest.

Volume 2 is my story and was released in January of 2003.  This CD contains sounds from 1971 and 1972, but also features unique communicative-type recording from 1974 – all from the same remote campsite. I talk about the events in the Sierra camp in hopes that others will try to understand the nature of these primates; in my opinion they are sentient beings.
The books (1) ‘Bigfoot’, Bantam, 1976, by Alan Berry, is about his investigation into what was first thought to be a cleaver hoax.  (2) ‘Voices in the Wilderness’, 2012, was self-produced and gives my 40-year story, researching this enigma.

The 1978 year-long study by Professor R. Lynn Kirlin, University of Wyoming, states that these creatures have a vocal capability exceeding that of the humans. More recently, in 2008, another year-long study was made by a Crypto-Linguistic team headed by R. Scott Nelson and a complex language was discovered.

As you navigate through this site please feel free to ask question or just comment about its contents.  I’m open to constructive suggestions and completely willing to openly share my thoughts toward these beings.
